Crucial Roof Services

All work is done according to exact manufacturer specifications and we pay strict attention to detail. We deliver a consistently dependable flat roof service for membrane roofing or liquid roofing. The roof is an important investment in your home or business and we have the experience to install any type of roofing application, such as advanced technical torch down systems for extended life span.

A couple of the different flat roof technologies common in the Lower Mainland:

Tar and Gravel: An older technology still seen on many Vancouver roofs today. This out dated technology was applied with 4 or 5 layers of asphalt based felt paper. It was glued together with layers of hot asphalt tar. Gravel was then placed on top to protect the roof from the sun, and was heavy enough to hold the material down during a wind storm. This was old school commercial roofing.

Torch on: This new roofing method is much safer than the old tar melting technique. The advanced torch on technique uses either a polyester or fiberglass base, then asphalt with a rubber additive is used to coat it. This unique mix gives the roof strength and flexibility, and allows it to be applied at low temperatures.

What Manufacturers Expect From Roofing Contractors

Roofers must be licensed by the manufacturer for a warranty to be valid. If materials are not installed according to manufacturer’s specs, the warranty is void. We inspect every job personally during and after the job to maintain the highest standards. All our work is guaranteed.

Labor Warranty

If we have installed a roof that develops an installation related problem, we cover the labor to correct the issue. You do not pay for any repairs under these circumstances. This does not cover circumstances like tree branches falling onto the roof causing damage, or gutter cleaners tearing shingles.
